Brian Goldberg is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Alliant Capital, Ltd. Mr. Goldberg began his employment with Alliant in 1997 where his initial responsibility was overseeing the financial affairs of the Company and its affiliates. In January 2010, he received a promotion to his current title. From 1990 to 1997, he was employed as the Chief Financial Officer of a large real estate investment company that developed and managed residential and commercial real estate throughout the United States. From 1985 to 1990, he was employed by Arthur Andersen in the Enterprise Group. Mr. Goldberg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Denver. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Craig Thomas is a Vice President. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Thomas was a tax and securities partner in two nationally recognized law firms located in the Midwest and Washington, D.C. working exclusively on affordable housing tax-exempt bond and tax credit transactions. In these positions, Mr. Thomas represented investment banks, state housing agencies, and for-profit and non-profit borrowers in connection with financing programs designed to support affordable housing efforts throughout the United States. In 1991, Mr. Thomas worked in the office of General Counsel for a banking subcommittee in the U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Thomas is also a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing) and he worked for Ernst & Young as a tax consultant in its National Tax Office from 1988 to 1990. Mr. Thomas attended the University of Akron earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and attended the George Washington University National Law Center earning a Juris Doctor degree.

Jeff Bachman is a Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management. He is responsible for the post purchase investment performance of all lower-tier partnerships and the daily oversight of the Asset Management Department. Previously, Mr. Bachman was the director of LIHTC Asset Management at Fannie Mae, having been responsible for the asset management of the twelve billion dollar LIHTC Equity business, and at times, the Market Rate Equity, and Forward Commitment Debt products. He was also charged with creating data management workflow systems to analyze quarterly operating results, develop, manage, and mitigate risks of sub-optimal assets, and strategically unwind partnerships. Mr. Bachman has extensive experience in affordable housing development, acquisition, and asset management. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, he was an Executive Vice President for Apollo Housing Capital, LLC, Regional Vice President for the Midwest Region of the National Equity Fund, and CFO for a non profit real estate development company. Mr. Bachman has a B.S. in Economics and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.

Jonathan Lahn is a Vice President and is responsible for the acquisition of low income housing tax credit properties in the Carolinas and Mid Atlantic U.S. Mr. Lahn has extensive experience in affordable housing finance having been involved in the industry for more than 18 years. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Lahn co-founded Insite Atlantic, a real estate firm specializing in the development and syndication of tax credit properties. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Lahn was employed by a nationally recognized tax credit syndication firm where he was responsible for all aspects of the acquisition process in the Charlotte, NC office. From 1996 to 2004, Mr. Lahn was a senior executive at First Union/Wachovia and was instrumental in the company’s growth.As the Director of Asset Management and the Director of Acquisitions he was responsible for overseeing $2B worth of LIHTC properties. From 1993-1996, Mr. Lahn was employed in the Bethesda office of the Reznick Group as a manager in the real estate consulting group. Mr. Lahn received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Melvin Gevisser is the Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Gevisser is responsible for the financial affairs of the Company and its affiliates. From 1998 until 2004, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a subsidiary of a NASDAQ company that provided IT consulting services to the banking industry. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer of companies that specialized in computer trade shows and conferences. Mr. Gevisser received his Bachelor of Commerce degree and Masters in Accounting from Natal University in South Africa. |

Monique Hastings is a Principal of the Alliant Newport Division, based in Irvine, California, and is responsible for the investment execution process including due diligence, negotiation and final closing of the investment transactions. Ms. Hastings is a co-founder of Newport. She previously was a Director of Property Investment and Asset Management for a national direct tax credit investment program where she managed their East Coast office and presided over $200 million of equity closings and oversaw the asset management of over 16,000 units. Prior to 1993, Ms. Hastings was a Property Development Manager for an electric utility land subsidiary. She also spent four years in public accounting. Ms. Hastings has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton.

Peter Dwars is a Vice President of Acquisitions based in Chicago, Illinois and is responsible for Alliant’s acquisition efforts throughout the State of Illinois. Mr. Dwars is one of the nation’s most experienced and respected affordable housing experts. Prior to his association with Alliant, he served three different Governors as the Executive Director of the Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA) since joining them in 1972. During his tenure with the IHDA he was elected as a board member, treasurer and secretary of the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA). Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Illinois Affordable Housing Trust Fund. His experience also includes employment with two investment banking firms, CS First Boston and Alex Brown & Sons, as well as a Chicago based real estate development firm. He has worked on affordable housing finance in all three private sector positions he held. Memberships include but are not limited to: Board Member of Chicago Local Initiative Support Corporation, Board Member of Chicago Housing Partnership Member, and Government Finance Officers Association. Mr. Dwars holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in economics and marketing from Indiana University.

Stacie Nekus is a Vice President, Investor Relations. She is responsible for raising and placing equity investments by institutional and corporate investors in both proprietary and multi-investor funds. Ms. Nekus has been in the real estate industry for over 20 years working in the affordable, investment and industrial sectors. From 2002 to 2011, Ms. Nekus worked for a large nationally recognized tax credit syndication firm. Prior to joining Alliant, Ms. Nekus was the Managing Director of Investor Relations working with a large cross section of investors to syndicate over $1B in equity. She is a highly respected professional in the industry who plays a very active role within the industry and with various organizations. You will find also her participating on equity panels at numerous national and state conferences. Ms. Nekus earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in Indiana. |

Warren Harrison is a Senior Vice President. Mr. Harrison is responsible for all investor reporting, and oversees the IT Department, including direct oversight of The Alliant Company's website and its corporate databases. Mr. Harrison served as Alliant's Director of Asset Management from 2002-2008. From 1994 through 2001, Mr. Harrison served as Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management for a nationally recognized syndication company, in addition to serving as its Chief Information Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Harrison was employed by HomeFed Bank and First Los Angeles Bank, where he served as a Branch Manager and Real Estate Loan Portfolio Manager, respectively. Mr. Harrison received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Carl Wise is a Senior Vice President and heads the investor relations group. In this role Mr. Wise is responsible for overseeing investments by institutional investors in both proprietary and multi-investor fund. Mr. Wise has been with Alliant since 2002 and has over 20 years of tax credit experience. From 1990 until joining Alliant, Mr. Wise was Senior Managing Director, Real Estate Equity for DaimlerChrysler Capital Services. In this position he was responsible for investment, development, management and syndication of income-producing real estate, including low and moderate-income rental housing throughout the United States and Europe. He also served on DaimlerChrysler Capital’s Board of Directors and Credit Committee for ten years. In addition, Mr. Wise also served on the Board of Governors of the Affordable Housing Investors Council from its inception 2002. Prior to 1990, Mr. Wise practiced real estate law with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan in New York City. He is a graduate of University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts degree and New York Law School with a Juris Doctor degree.

Dan Winters is a Vice President and is responsible for the acquisition of low income tax credit properties in the Southeast. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Winters held various positions for a nationally recognized tax credit syndicator including overseeing all aspects of property acquisitions in the Midwest. Mr. Winters received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and his Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University.

Joel Hauenstein is a Vice President and is responsible for the acquisition of low income tax credit properties in the Midwest. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Hauenstein was the Vice President of Acquisitions at a nationally recognized syndication and debt provider for 10 years. Between the years 1990 to 1996, he held various positions with Berkshire Mortgage in the DC area. Mr. Hauenstein received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Akron. |

Jong Limb is a Principal and the President of the Alliant Newport Division, based in Irvine, California. Mr. Limb has been involved with the tax credit industry since 1988, serving as President for one of the largest direct corporate tax credit investment programs in the Country. Mr. Limb formed Newport in 1998, sourcing tax credit investments on behalf of institutional investors and providing consulting services for developers of affordable housing projects. Prior to 1988, Mr. Limb was an investment analyst for San Diego Gas and Electric with responsibilities over their pension investments. Mr. Limb has a Bachelor degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics from New York University and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from the University of San Diego.

Linda L. Hill is the Senior Vice President of Originations and is responsible for managing Alliant's originations team. From 2004 to 2011, Ms. Hill worked for AEGON USA Realty Advisors, where she was primarily responsible for the acquisitions of LIHTC investments for AEGON and ifs affiliated entities. Her role at AEGON included managing a team of acquisitions staff that was responsible for underwriting and structuring new transactions. Ms. Hill has acquired over 15 years of affordable housing experience working in both the equity and debt sides of the LIHTC industry. She is a highly respected professional in the industry who has played a very active role as a member of the Acquisitions and Underwriting Committee for AHIC, in addition to participating on equity panels at various national and state conferences. Ms. Hill earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Michael Jacobs is a Vice President and is responsible for the acquisition of LIHTC properties in the greater Midwest. Mr. Jacobs has over 18 years of affordable housing experience and has worked on all sides of the tax credit industry. From 2003 to 2011, Mr. Jacobs was the Midwest Regional Vice President for a large, nationally recognized tax credit syndication firm and handled originations in the 15 core states that make up the Midwest. From 1999 to 2003, he oversaw Midwest asset performance, compliance and investor reporting by sponsor organizations for the same firm. Prior to that, he was employed by Century Place Development Corporation (now Heartland Housing), in Chicago, where he was Director of Property and Asset Management from 1994 to 1999. Mr. Jacobs has also worked as a policy liaison at the Ann Arbor Historic District Commission and as a researcher for the University of Michigan. Mr. Jacobs holds a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan and earned his undergraduate degree in English Literature from Eastern Michigan University.

Peter Brodie is a Vice President and is responsible for Alliant’s acquisition efforts in the Northeast. He has twelve years of affordable housing industry experience involving development, finance and tax credit syndication. From 2005 until joining Alliant in February 2011, Mr. Brodie worked for nationally recognized tax credit syndicators, most recently as a Regional Director for Northeast originations. From 2002 to 2005 he was the principal of the Urban Renaissance Bureau, an urban development consulting practice based in New York City. Prior to that he was a Project Manager with CPC Resources, a development subsidiary of the Community Preservation Corporation. He has also held positions with the Massachusetts Port Authority, Landvest and FEMA. Mr. Brodie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont and a Master of Urban Planning degree from Harvard University. He is based in New York City. |

Scott Yahraus is an Assistant Vice President and is responsible for the acquisition of low income tax credit properties for Alliant Capital's West Coast efforts. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Yahraus worked for a well known market rate development firm for nine years. Scott began his real estate career as an industrial broker for an NAI affiliate. He has been involved in redevelopment projects in New Orleans as well as a co-founder of ConstructionPhotoDocs.com, an online tool for developers and stakeholders to track and monitor the construction process more efficiently. Mr. Yahraus earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Creighton University.

Anthony G. Palaigos is the Senior Vice President/General Counsel. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Palaigos was Director of Tax Credit Investments/Affordable Housing Finance for Ocwen Financial Corporation/Ocwen Federal Bank FSB from 1994 through March 1999. Between 1984 and 1994, he practiced law at various law firms, including Shea & Gould, New York, New York, where he was of counsel, Serchuck & Zelermyer, White Plains, New York, where he was a real estate partner, and Miles & Stockbridge, Baltimore, Maryland, in an associate capacity in its public finance department. Mr. Palaigos has over 15 years of varied experience in real estate conveyancing, development and finance, including experience in tax credit investments and bond transactions. Mr. Palaigos has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College and a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University School of Law, and is admitted to practice law in the states of New York, Florida and Maryland (inactive). |

Wil Smolen is a Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Smolen was the Senior Vice President of Community Development at a large real estate development company for sixteen years. He was responsible for the daily management of all land development, engineering, entitlement processing, zoning, subdivision, government relations and community liaison work. Prior to that, Mr. Smolen was Senior Project Manager and Director of Motel Construction, involved in the development and construction of approximately 4,000 motel units throughout the western United States. Mr. Smolen has over 23 years of varied experience in the real estate industry. He is a graduate of Purdue University in Civil Engineering, a licensed general building contractor, member and former president of the Residential Purchasing Council of Southern California and currently sits on the Affordable Housing Committees of the City of Los Angeles.
